In 1969 Frank van Riel has founded the wholesale company Van Riel Distripet. With their own representatives Van Riel Distripet sells numerous pet products to the retail trade in the Benelux. Nowadays Van Riel Distripet is known as one of the main market leaders of pet supplies in the Benelux.
After years of this flourishing growth, International Pet Trade Service (IPTS) was founded in 1985 to import and export pet products worldwide. Over the years, IPTS has become one of the most well known European importers and exporters in the field of pet products. In 2006 the history of Van Riel Distripet / IPTS is continued by the second family generation: Job and Guusje van Riel.

Van Riel Distripet is the wholesale division that sells their complete assortment of pet products like accessories, treats and snacks to the retail trade in the Benelux. By using high-end logistical systems Van Riel Distripet is able to process approximately 7000 orderlines per day and guarantee their customers a delivery within 48 hours. To achieve this, Van Riel Distripet has 20 sales representatives who visit and advise all our retailers daily.

International Pet Trade Service (IPTS) is the import / export division of our company with purchase and sales activities all over the world. In close cooperation with our (partner) factories from the Far East, US and Europe. IPTS continuously introduces new and innovative products. For export activities we build a worldwide and reliable distribution network. IPTS offers our customers an excellent service and well-organized deliveries from our warehouse in Waalwijk.
